Welcome to Friends of Great Ballard
Bringing our school community together
FOGB is the Friends of Great Ballard — a group of parents and supporters who organise events, bring families together and raise funds to support projects across Great Ballard School.
From Fireworks Night and Quiz Night to family events and special activities, our aim is simple: to help make school life even more enjoyable for pupils and families.

What does FOGB do?
FOGB helps create opportunities for families to come together outside the normal school day.
We organise social and fundraising events throughout the year and use the money raised to support projects, equipment and experiences that benefit pupils across the school.
Recent FOGB events have included:
- Fireworks Night
- Quiz Nights
- Christmas and Summer Fairs
- Teddy Bears’ Picnic
- Pre-Prep Disco
- Milkshake pop-ups
- Halloween activities
Money raised through FOGB events goes back into the school community.
FOGB has supported a wide range of projects and equipment, including books and library resources, science equipment, playground equipment, sports equipment, a buddy bench and other projects requested by different areas of the school.
You don’t have to join a committee to help FOGB. Whether you can run an event, help for an hour, suggest an idea or simply come along and support what we do, it all makes a difference.
We’re always pleased to hear from parents who would like to get involved.
